📚 This #MediaMonday, I'm excited to share with you all a book that has truly left a mark on me: "Can't Hurt Me" by David Goggins. In this gripping memoir, Goggins takes us on a journey through his life, from facing poverty and abuse to becoming a Navy SEAL and ultra-endurance athlete. What resonated with me the most was his unwavering commitment to mastering his mind, no matter the obstacles thrown his way. As a leader, I've come to realize the immense power of mindset mastery. Goggins teaches us that our biggest limitations often exist within our own minds, and it's up to us to break free from them. He introduces the concept of the "governor" on our minds, showing us that there's always more potential waiting to be unlocked, even when we feel like we've reached our limits. One of the key takeaways for me was Goggins' emphasis on embracing discomfort and pushing through pain. It's through these challenges that we grow stronger, both as individuals and as leaders. By pushing past our comfort zones, we set an example for those around us, inspiring them to reach for greatness in their own lives.
