"Unlock the power of communication and respect in your yoga practice with consent cards 🕊️🧘♂️: Set the Tone: Begin each class by introducing the concept of consent and explaining how consent cards work. Choose Your Card: Invite practitioners to select a consent card indicating their preferences for hands-on adjustments, verbal cues, or no adjustments during the session. Respect Boundaries: Honor each individual's boundaries and preferences by adhering to the indications on their chosen card throughout the practice. Encourage Open Dialogue: Foster an environment of trust and open communication, where students feel comfortable expressing their needs and preferences without judgment. Regular Check-ins: Incorporate regular check-ins during the practice to ensure that students continue to feel safe and respected. By incorporating consent cards into your yoga classes, you empower practitioners to take ownership of their practice and foster a culture of mutual respect and understanding. #YogaConsent #RespectBoundaries #EmpoweredPractice 🌿🙏"

🌟 When I was younger, I thought that the more complicated the yoga sessions I taught, the more I was engaging my students. 🧘♂️✨ But the thinking of actually taking care of the students came much later. Initially, it was all about the sequence, the experience, the movements, etc. As you grow older, you realize that your body is a medium through which we can do good in the world. 🌍 It is a means to an end. Spending countless hours trying to achieve certain shapes or postures no longer appeals to me, and it is not the way we teach in our groundbreaking 200hr yoga training that starts on June 16th. If we have a reasonable yoga practice that helps us ground in times of challenge and keeps our bodies in optimum health, why do we have to spend so much time on a mat? Instead, we can spend time in our communities, helping others through the same practices. 🤝💖 Wrap your foot around your head. Balance your body weight on one finger. 🌀 Those are not the things that bring joy to the spirit or bring us closer to our humanity. In fact, it's quite the opposite. Join us in our 200hr training and let’s use our practice to make a better world that extends way beyond the length of a mat or chair. 🌟🙏 Reach out via DM to learn more! 📩 #YogaForAll #WarriorFlowOfficial #WarriorFlowSchool #AdrianMolina #200hrYogaTraining #CommunityWellness #MindfulMovement #YogaJourney #GroundingPractice #YogaForGood

#PressHandstand Adventure Day 25 the Table Top Sequence I realised that mindfulness and body awareness can extend into all forms of advanced movements and physical training. My journey as a yoga teacher is driven by a passion to bridge industry gaps. I aim to empower yoga teachers with enhanced physical strength, mental resilience, public speaking confidence, and business growth strategies. I practice daily, ensuring the authenticity and effectiveness of the resources I share on social media and all my paid programs. I waited to be able to teach what I do and to do what I teach. With that philosophy in mind, I have created the “Strength Challenge for Yoga Teachers,” and its evolution, the “60-Day Yoga Strength” program. I'm thrilled to present a Table Top Sequence designed to challenge and strengthen. ▶ Tiger Pose 10 Repetitions ▶ Balancing Table Open Leg and Opposite Arm Sideway 10 Repetitions ▶ Table Top Crunches Knee to Armpit 10 Repetitions ▶ Table Top Back Kick + Pulse 10 Repetitions ▶ Table Top Up and Over + Up and Cross 10 Repetitions ▶ Table Top Back Kick Pulse Straight Leg 10 Repetitions ▶ Table Top Fire Hydrant + Extended 10 Repetitions ▶ Bear Crawls 10 Breaths ▶ Grounded Warrior III 5 Breaths If you want to know more about the “60-Day Yoga Strength” program, just write "more" in the comments. How has your focus on the process rather than perfection transformed your practice? Share your thoughts! #YogaJourney #CoreStrength #HipFlexors #YogaTeacher #MindfulMovement #Empowerment #60DayYogaStrength #YogaCommunity #ProcessOverPerfection

Yin or Restorative yoga practices are often referenced as if they are the same, yet I believe they hold some very clear differences depending on your wellness goals and current health status. Check out my thoughts and let me know what you think.

Yoga is a core practice that keeps me grounded. I wish I could say I practice every day. Instead, I get to practice 2-3 times a week. Acceptance of my constraints is also a form of surrender. When I do practice, I like how the flow and breathing takes my focus towards deeper self-understanding, away from external stimulation. Ashtanga primary series. Same flow each time. I must've done it hundreds of times. Yet, each practice is unique. A resistance in the body that wasn’t there yesterday. Or a new flexibility that suddenly opens up. Bit by bit, the strength that built up, made something that was impossible a few months ago, possible today. Like the fresh dawn of each day, each practice is a new beginning. I keep a yoga mat at work — one at home, and one in my suitcase. I have learned to practice when I can, where I am. This practice was in my office and built into my calendar between meetings. I discovered that consistency of practice may need adaptability on my part. No matter what our age, the journey of self acceptance is the biggest gift we can give ourselves. Namaste. On this International Yoga Day, let's get on the mat. And be connected to our core self. #InternationalYogaDay #Lifestyle #Fitness #Health #mindfulness

What is Restorative Yoga? Restorative Yoga is a deeply nurturing practice designed to bring the body into a state of relaxation and renewal. This practice typically moves through five to six supported poses, each held for several minutes to promote deep relaxation and healing. Unlike more active forms of yoga, restorative yoga emphasizes passive stretching and the use of props like bolsters, blankets, and blocks to fully support the body. This allows the muscles to soften without strain and the nervous system to shift from a state of fight-or-flight to rest-and-digest. The poses are chosen to target specific areas where tension is commonly stored, such as the hips, shoulders, and spine. In addition to physical benefits, restorative yoga offers significant somatic benefits. Somatic movements—gentle, conscious movements that promote awareness of the body—are incorporated to help practitioners reconnect with their bodily sensations. This practice encourages the release of stored emotions and trauma, fostering a deeper connection between the mind and body. Restorative yoga is a powerful practice for anyone seeking deep relaxation, stress relief, and a gentle way to reconnect with their body while also promoting somatic awareness and healing.
