🌟 Community Spirit in Action! 🌟 A few weeks ago, our amazing team had the privilege of spending a day volunteering at our Local Age UK Centre in Bermondsey. It was an incredibly rewarding experience where we had the opportunity to give back to the community and connect with some wonderful people. Our activities included: 🧩 Organizing fun games and activities 🍽️ Helping to serve meals 🌸 Gardening and sprucing up the outdoor areas 🧶 Sharing stories with the residents A big thank you to Age UK for hosting us and to all the volunteers for their enthusiasm and hard work. We're already looking forward to our next volunteer day! Check out volunteering.gov.au, and whilst you are there - have a look at the video ads being shown around the country encouraging teens to volunteer in Animal Shelters, the Aged Care sector and as Sport Coaches (the first two of which are well known for being basically exclusive for volunteers aged 18+, and the latter which is typically only offered to participants or paying members of sports clubs that show leadership potential in a sport they excel at).
