Last minute screamer to end this month! For some reason, my deals with this particular customer always come with tight deadlines, but the respect and repeat business make it all worthwhile. The task: source two vans, one from Inverness and the other from the bottom of the UK, and get them back to Blackpool by yesterday evening. The invoices landed yesterday morning, so we had to act fast. Huge thanks to our finance support team for raising the documents promptly, allowing us to process the payout with our lender. Despite the ticking clock, everything seemed on track until 5 pm when we hit a snag with some final details. Massive shoutout to Ashleigh Cole and her team for staying late to help rectify the issues, ensuring our customer could collect the vans in time. Without their extra push, we wouldn't have made it. HEADS UP 74 PLATES ARE AROUND THE CORNER. PLEASE GET IN TOUCH NOW TO AVOID ANY DELAYS TOWARDS NEW PLATE DAY. This experience felt a lot like Leon Edwards' insane shot—volleying a ball into a basketball hoop from across the court. Sometimes, you just have to make the shot and trust that the results will speak for themselves. (really it's an excuse to post this mental video. what a shot!!)
