As we pause to reflect this Thanksgiving, we want to express our gratitude to our incredible team, clients, and partners who make Kicksaw not just a company, but a community. At Kicksaw, it’s not just about what we do, but how we do it—by being true to ourselves, owning our challenges, working together, and always keeping it simple. These values guide us every day, and we’re grateful to be part of a team that lives them. Wishing you all a joyful and restful Thanksgiving!

There's that 'why' again. Why does your business do what it does? This is a great reminder that the 'why' for your brand building can simply be a passion for being engaged and making a difference in an industry you love. Find the passion, and you'll find the why. #BrandBuilding
It's hard to believe that if someone had told me back in 2011 where Gymshark would be today, I would have taken them seriously...

"It's possible to be a speaker" And guess what, it's really happening for me! I have started to speak at corporate events and team offsites. And I just had the coolest gig so far speaking at the Ops team offsite of ShopBack. It's cool to me because: 𝟭 - 𝗪𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 Shopback's VP of Ops Rahm R invited me to speak at his offsite even though we have never met before. He just came across my profile and YT channel and took a leap of faith in me. 𝟮 - 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 Despite only knowing Shopback's business in general, I realized his team priorities are universal; such as excelling in uncertainty, delighting customers, resilience and career fulfillment. And I could relate my past experiences to his team. So if you are wondering if you can start something in a new industry / domain / company, I want to assure you you can. We just have to get out there and meet people like Rahm and his team to have faith in you. Go get yours. (And if you want someone to motivate your team with authenticity, self-depreciating humor without the usual corporate ra-ra in 2025, you know where to find me)

It's been three years since we opened The Bunker. 🎂 From Wobbling-Dogs to Daily Tidies, we've launched a few games since 2021 with plenty more yet to come... The team will be getting together tomorrow to celebrate by holding our own Oscars for ourselves with these categories: The Brew Master - best drink maker. The Fashionista - someone who always dresses their best. The Competitor - the most competitive in the office. The ‘Pun’isher - a very punny person. The I Understood That Reference - someone who has a reference for everything. Most likely to have the most Loddles. Most likely to create the weirdest Wobbledogs. Most likely to set a speed running world record in Zool. Most likely to survive Still Wakes the Deep IRL. Most likely to cause the most chaos in Make Way. The Recognition Award - someone who goes above and beyond. The Unsung hero Award - someone who does a lot but isn’t always front and center. #WeAreSecretMode

If you need a jolt of joy and a virtual fist bump 👊 you need to check out this video!
Here’s a story that will brighten your day...meet Azai, a young guest whose favorite store is Target. He loves visiting T-0966 in Huntersville, North Carolina and goes out of his way to greet his fellow shoppers with a friendly “hi” and plenty of fist bumps. (And anyone who knows me, knows I appreciate a good fist bump!) To show our appreciation, we made Azai an honorary team member, and store director Tammy Jackson made sure he had everything he needed to feel part of the team—red shirt, name tag and a roll full of stickers. Thank you, Tammy and team, for creating this special moment for Azai...and thank you, Azai, for giving us all one more reason to smile today!

Two things I got from this snippet: 1) We must 100% use whatever resources we have at our disposal to assist in our overall growth. 2) A growth mindset + Self discipline= Human Superpower!

I had the honor of working on a project creating a presentation inspired by the classic game Candyland, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year! 🍭🎉 It’s incredible to think about how this beloved game has brought joy to generations since it first hit retail shelves. As I collaborated on this project and reflected on my Candyland days, I realized how relatable the game is to my 20+ years as a creative professional. Much like in Candyland, my career has had its twists and turns, with each project presenting unique challenges and opportunities. It’s been my responsibility to navigate these paths toward my goals. Strategic thinking is key, much like players must contemplate their next move. In my work, having a clear strategy has been essential—whether it’s mapping out an event or crafting an engaging brand experience, staying focused on my vision has made all the difference. Finally, the unexpected twists remind me that adaptability has been crucial in my field. The last two decades have been an adventure, and I’m excited to keep navigating this colorful path! #CareerJourney #Creativity
