So, after nearly nine years, my time as Assistant Editor of The Countryman's Weekly has come to an end. But, after more than 36 years as a working journalist, I'm not ready to hang up my pen yet. I'll still be contributing to Warships International Fleet Review and my car reviews can still be found at www.eurekar.co.uk among other places. However, I'm certainly now in the market for work, whether it's journalism or in a completely new field. This dog is not so old it can't be taught new tricks. Hopefully, some of you might be able to help or make suggestions. All help appreciated. Now, the next chapter!

The fun forever bit is questionable. Interested who will be repairing these cars for them to last a lifetime and how? Will spare parts, manuals and tools be available? Will Suzuki still be in business in 80 years? Danny: Would not buy a #susuki as in his opinion their are better brands.
Check out this advertisement for Suzuki cars. Here is a brand telling us that their car is designed to last a lifetime, implying that you wont need to buy another car. This goes against a brand upselling, creating newer models and getting their customer to keep coming back to purchase more. A great example of product stewardship, creating a product that is designed to last the distance. This ad was featured on the TV show Gruen on Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), with the discussion around the marketing on only selling once, rather than pushing out more consumable products.
