𝗜𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝟰 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀, 𝗜: → moved to Amsterdam with a dream (of "becoming European", whatever that meant lol) → obtained a Master's Degree in Sport Psychology (helped, but not to the extent I thought it would) → got my first job, in Recruitment (a hurricane of a job, mixed with insane individuals; good & bad) → 3 years later, became Head of Talent Acquisition, hitting great OTE (then landed an even better role, and even better pay)   𝟰 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆: → degrees < willingness to learn, actions, grit → Network! Don't be afraid! Ask for a chat! (seriously, do this. Got two job offers doing this) → your "Why" is what will keep you in the game for the long run → its literally all a game ... learn the rules & PLAY THE GAME! 𝗕𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻: → Hard work in the wrong areas will DETERIORATE you, kill your motivation, eliminate your momentum. 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝘂𝘀𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱.   What will my next 4 years look like? Not sure, but I'm excited. You've made some strides these past 4 years. Stay intentional. You're gonna make some more these next few years.

🚨Long Post Alert Life rarely gives us the chance to reinvent ourselves, to step off our well-trodden path and embrace something entirely new. It takes courage, heart, and, perhaps most importantly, a company that believes in your dreams as much as you do. Three years ago, I found that in Beacon Mobility. From the moment I joined, I knew this company was different. The leaders here weren’t just building a business—they were building something meaningful, something I wanted to be a part of. My work has been focused on helping leaders grow and thrive, and in the process, I’ve grown alongside them. I have done it with the best team I could ask for Stephan Lindgren, Nicole Walker, Toni Niederman. Then, unexpectedly, I was given the chance to step into operations, a world I hadn’t fully explored before. What started as a rotation to round out my experience and support a company I love quickly became something more. I found myself falling in love with the challenges, the pace, and the intricacies of operations. And so, with a mix of excitement and nerves, I decided to take a leap and pursue the role of VP of Operations. The kindness, support, and unwavering belief I received from my colleagues and leaders made all the difference. To everyone at Beacon who reassured me with words like, “We’re right here and we got you,”—thank you. Your belief in me has fueled my confidence to take this next step. Here’s to new beginnings, to finding passion in unexpected places, and to knowing that career paths aren’t always straight—they often take us on the most incredible journeys. I’m excited to dive headfirst into this new chapter in operations, and I’m grateful to be surrounded by a team that makes it all possible.

ENDURE is the last part of our mantra at PACE: the habit of tapering is part of a culture were performance and health matter. Tapering is a habit in sport performance. As the only Belgian woman that finished in the top 5 of La Grande Course (the toughest international ski mountaineering competitions), I know how important it is for peak performance. It's designed to slow down and reflect. That’s also how you clear your 🧠 to prepare for the starting line. It benefits your mindset: If you’re rested and well-prepared when you start the race, you manage stress and are more confident. During my corporate career I experienced the same. It’s sometimes crucial to ease up the pace a bit so that we can reflect and boost our energy & creativity. By ensuring that there is a shift between accelerating and slowing down to reflect, not only will tasks be done better in the long run but it will also create space for creativity, renewal and growth. As I continue building PACE , I still climb mountains and push boundaries and keep incorporating tapering into my journey. So having taken a nine-month “sabbatical” to enjoy this most serendipitous of opportunities to unwind, travel and allow time for introspection and growth, its now time for me to put the travel adventures on hold (for now) and get serious about getting back into new adventures in the corporate world... Whilst I am on the “hunt” for a new role and have some time on my hands, I will share, a few (hopefully) invaluable, but brief, life lessons gleaned during this hiatus and how they can be integrated into our lives (and those of our teams) in the corporate world… Part 1: Cultivate Meaningful Connections: During my travels, I have reconnected with old friends, strengthened familial bonds, and forged new relationships. These human connections have brought immense joy and fulfilment to my life, serving as a reminder of the importance of cultivating meaningful relationships and connections. In the workplace, fostering a sense of camaraderie and belonging can improve teamwork, communication, and overall morale. Encourage open dialogue, celebrate achievements, and prioritise team-building activities to create a supportive, trusting and inclusive work environment.
