We are thrilled to share findings from our recent study investigating the impact of high-protein ramen noodles on subsequent meal intake. Conducted as “A randomized, double-blind crossover study, our research explored whether a breakfast rich in protein-packed ramen noodles could influence lunchtime energy intake compared to standard protein options”.
Conference: Nutrition 2024 American Society for Nutrition (ASN) Chicago.
Key Results:
Participants who consumed high-protein ramen noodles for breakfast showed a significant reduction in lunchtime calorie intake (94 kcal, p<0.04), as well as decreased fat (5g, p<0.05) and sodium (214mg, p<0.02) consumption.
These findings suggest that incorporating high-protein ramen noodles, such as Chef Woo Ramen Noodles, into the diet may support efforts to manage calorie intake, promote satiety and potentially aid in long-term weight loss goals.
Special Thanks:
🙏 A big thank you to Dr. Nikhil V. Dhurandhar, Dr. Kristina Petersen and Dr. Surya Niraula for their guidance and support throughout this study. Your expertise has been instrumental.
Implications for the Future:
As we continue to delve deeper into the implications of these findings, we hope to explore how high-protein meal options can contribute to effective weight management strategies over extended periods.
