Had the opportunity to attend the Accounts Payable Leadership Conference last week, and it was a great experience! Here are a few takeaways: 1. AI in AP: One of the most exciting sessions was about the integration of AI in accounts payable. It’s fascinating to see how AI can streamline processes, reduce errors, and improve decision-making. Definitely looking forward to exploring more in this space. 2. Networking: It was amazing to connect with professionals across different sectors of AP. Hearing diverse perspectives on managing teams, implementing new tools, and improving efficiency was incredibly valuable. 3. Future of AP: We also discussed the future of accounts payable and how roles are evolving. The focus is shifting towards strategic decision-making, process automation, and making finance more collaborative across departments.

With 62% of employees feeling unappreciated, recognition emerged as the top challenge, highlighting a critical gap in leadership's understanding of employee needs.
