How Teal HR Helped Cut Turnover by 53% and Speed Up Employee Adaptation Company: Retail, 2200 Frontline Employees Challenge The company faced high staff turnover and sought to reduce the adaptation period for employees during mass hiring. Solution The company analyzed existing job positions and classified them according to specific profile vectors, while employees were assessed for their suitability for various tasks. An ideal compatibility vector for each vacancy was developed, allowing for the optimal placement of new hires based on their predispositions. For example, an employee better suited to warehouse tasks might be redirected from a sales floor position to a role in the warehouse. Results The initiative led to a 6.1% reduction in employee adaptation time compared to previous metrics. More significantly, staff turnover decreased by 53%. As the year comes to an end , we all in the space of HR start getting the feelings of : 1. What did we do that moved mountains 2. It was just Business As Usual 3. What will be 2025 like and what are my Big ticket items For me, Listening to the global buzz , HR meet-ups, I had an OD (Over Dose) of #HRAI…I get it…I get it…but is HR ready for it ? I say that all because I saw system dependencies compromising issues around impersonation , and leakages of poor talent. We need to start simplifying and looking at some processes of human touchpoints remaining archiac, since there is not replacement for some processes. #Sense & #Sensibility is required more than before if we like to remain progressive. We are at the tip of #AIiceberg , with a lot to be explored.
