Please join us in congratulating our 1st 2x MAS-Hole of the Month, Ms. Sydney Hand!! Although we’re always thankful for the MAS Syd brings to KM, her #Motivation, #Accountability, and #Service this holiday season has brought so much extra positivity and optimism to the team! Cheers to you, Syd! 👏 “Syd is no stranger to these nominations! Even when her hair is on fire, she has a smile on her face and is always willing to go above and beyond in any way that is needed. It has been so fun working with her and I am so appreciative of her fresh perspective, innovative ideas and MAS every day! THANK YOU SYD!” “Syd is awesome - Always going above and beyond in her subtle way, and I want her to know it does not go unnoticed! Specifically this month she has picked up a lot of extra tasks to help the team and KM in general, plus went out of her way to coordinate a fun team lunch, in addition to backing up the team with requests etc. when others were on PTO. We appreciate you, Syd!!” “Syd is always stepping up to the plate to make everyone's life better! She brings energy, fun, and creative ways to get our mornings started! She was instrumental in the Friendsgiving in the STL office and is always willing to put the extra time and energy to make things go seamlessly. She's stepped up to help with scheduling for trainings and I just so appreciate all she does! She's filled with MAS!”

Summer’s here - yay! - and so is Chris Chen's #Impactiversary - double yay! 🧁️ The Director of our Property team, Chris has been with us for more than a couple Impactiversary celebrations now, but we never get sick of singing his praises. Let's see what the team had to say about working with this guy, shall we? 〰️ "Chris is a natural leader, he's a team player who knows his stuff and never hesitates to step in and help out however he can. He's his team's biggest support and genuinely wants to see them succeed. He's an excellent resource for anyone new to the industry and, at the same time, he's open to learning, too. Great person, through and through." 〰️ "He doesn't take himself too seriously, and I really like that in a leader. He's down to earth, kind, smart and supportive." 〰️ "Chris always makes time for you, no matter how busy he is and how much else he has going on. He's a great person to talk problems through with, a good friend and a kind person. He's also quick to laugh, easy to connect with and really great at what he does." 〰️ "How would I describe Chris? Okay, three words: funny, supportive, hard-working. Oh, and team player. I've actually got a lot more, but I'll keep it short and sweet." Help us celebrate another year of Chris Chen in the comments, won't you? #CheersToYou #Kudos #WorkAnniversary #TeamImpact #Property #Recruitment

Celebrate the good. The last 7 days have not been the best (deer accident and our dryer went kaput), but the last 7 years? The good definitely outweighs the bad, times 10. Celebrate showing up, if nothing else. What wins are you celebrating today? #attendance #anniversary #interviewtips

Options October What if this was the lived experience quote of a member of your team? What options are they considering behind their closed doors that will impact your community? How can you reflect, act and support to help them? As boarding practitioners, we are always on the go but these whispers come in when no one is watching. In the moments where a member of your community has time to think, or realises that maybe this is not for them. It could be related to experiences not matching promises made. Or the reality not matching expectations. For every boarding practitioner reflecting on their options there is a cost. A risk of departure. A reduced level of interest or quiet quitting while they look It is the questions that we ask ourselves in these moments that drive change. This is your opportunity. An opportunity this month to put options in place to meet your people where they are, and celebrate their success.

How did you celebrate when you earned your PE? Did you take some PTO and go on a trip? Did you splurge on a certain item you had been keeping your eye on? Or did you go the more frugal route like me? My wife and I just went out on a fancier than normal date. What about raises, promotions or other professional achievements? Do you make an effort to celebrate these milestones? My typical go-to is to give myself permission to buy a nice bottle of bourbon. Whatever it is, I think it is important to treat yourself every once in a while. Engineers tend to do a little too much penny pinching in order to save more for the future. While that is important, we need to find a balance between current and future fulfillment. We need to not forget that life is a journey and not a destination. We need to give ourselves permission to spend a little every now and then. I find that using career achievements as excuses to spend on ourselves is a good forcing mechanism to make sure we are enjoying life along the way. What is your go-to for celebrating achievements?

Today marks my official 6-year anniversary with RS&H. As I reflect on this journey, I thought I would share why I'm here (and why I stay): 👷♂️ Our People. I get to work with some of the most talented people in this field. From our marketing team to technical staff, they make coming to work every day easy (and even fun). Collaborating with such dedicated professionals elevates my drive to succeed. 💲 Employee Ownership. We're 100% employee-owned and everyone has an opportunity to participate in equity ownership through our 401(k) plans and stock offerings. I have already seen returns on my investment, and I know that the work we do every day has a direct impact on my future. This sense of ownership drives us to achieve great things together! 📈 Career Growth. Professional development is more than just moving up a rung on the ladder. RS&H has provided me with countless opportunities to learn, grow, and advance my career. I've had the opportunity to attend two recent trainings: Crucial Conversations & 6 Practices for Leading A Team. Support and encouragement from my colleagues and mentors have been invaluable. Here's to many more years of success and growth! 🚀 #workanniversary #careergrowth #employeeownership #teamwork

As we close on Drivers Appreciation Week, lets make sure to not just acknowledge their accomplishments, sacrifices and job well done, 1 week out of the year. The job they do is not for everyone, however, just as the rest of us, they take pride in what they do for a living. A simple wave to them when you see them on the road, making sure they have room to change lanes when needed. These are just a couple of examples to give the drivers an "atta boy/girl" for doing their job. Remember, they are working too, they just don't get to go home every night to their loved ones, so make sure to help them on the roads, so that they CAN make it home to them. #driversappreciationweek #thankadriver #drivesafely

TCG shoutout to Daniel Stuart on his work anniversary! *\o/* Now, I know Dan would probably prefer this not get too gushy (trying to keep the cringe levels as low as possible), but he deserves a bit of recognition. Over the past year, he’s kept all our learner data and compliance in line and taken on more responsibility around data security which is a huge load off my mind. Working in an SME, things can shift really quick, and Dan’s adapted at every turn - which has made all of our lives easier. One of the things that stands out about Dan is his knack for streamlining things. Efficiency might not sound like the flashiest metric, but in a small team, it makes a big difference. I’m often not directly involved so much anymore, but I really do get a kick out of seeing every one of these sorts of notifications: 🔓 "Two factor authentication is now required for this application" 🚮 "Test Monday board 2023 has been archived." ☠️ “7 unused automations have been deleted” Small stuff like that just makes things better, it's important, and it’s appreciated. Now, Dan’s stepping into his first TCG line management role with our latest hire. No fuss or fanfare needed, but it’s a milestone, and I’m excited to see where he takes it. Here’s to another solid year, Dan 😃 Lucky to have you with us.
Congratulations to Daniel Stuart on your 2-year work #anniversary! 🥳 While you may prefer to work behind the #screens, your expertise in #CRMs, being our #MondayMan and other systems has been #instrumental in #continuously #improving our #processes. Your efforts have minimised our inputs, maximised our outputs and ensured #compliance at every step. This approach to your work undoubtedly contributed to your recent #win for the #impact and #Innovation Award at our #teamawards this Month. Your #creativity and #drive for #improvement and #compliance #inspires us all. You can go back to hiding away after today's celebration showcasing you as an #integral part of our #team where your #praise and #recognition is truly deserved. Here’s to many more years of #success #together! 🎉 🎊
