Big Bets on Student Housing As Demand Outpaces Supply 🔷Investors are increasingly attracted to #studenthousing for its stability, with significant recent acquisitions by KKR, Landmark Properties, Inc., and Pope & Land Enterprises, Inc. highlighting the trend. 🔷Developer Core Spaces plans to add nearly 10,000 off-campus student housing beds signaling a recovery in national demand for student housing post-pandemic. 🔷Fannie Mae reports that while pre-leasing rates dipped slightly in 2023-2024, student housing performance remains above historical averages, with development numbers expected to drop to 26,000 new beds by 2025. It just makes sense to checkout JP2, a 110 bed student housing community on the campus of University of Missouri-Kansas City & Rockhurst University.
