We need to develop our education with an unsentimental understanding of own situation in order to build future leadership, who can prepare citizens to cope with multi-perspective realities. The core of education must aim to turn people into social capital, who can maturely understand their stake to develop national culture and institutions, and manage the republic. Only virtuous education can make the new sovereignty worthwhile and dignified.

Today’s post might ruffle a few feathers, but we're having an eclipse so it is timed right. If academics say that “academic freedom” is the cornerstone of the university, this post aims to take them up on that core value. Educational institutions must begin to ask tough questions about their survivability over the next decade when around them the leadership in so many sectors are changing to reflect the world we live in, but at these institutions, there is still an invisible line intersected by races, genders and identities that continue to not hold leadership roles at our universities. May this post spark debate, that's what I'm here for. 📢 Excited to share my latest publication in the Journal of College Student Development titled "University Leadership as a Racialized Space: Building Constructs for an Emerging Theory"! 📚 I delve into the covert yet pervasive racialized processes within academic organizations, particularly focusing on the experiences of 93 Latine mid-level student affairs administrators. Through a constructivist grounded theory approach, I challenge prevailing leadership discourses and propose a framework for understanding university leadership through a racialized lens. Key findings highlight how structural practices intersect to create a racialized space within university leadership: *Leadership is not neutral— it is raced, gendered, and classed. *Pathways for Latine leaders are constrained through structural exclusion. *Formal credentialing and notions of professionalism often reinforce whiteness as the standard for leadership legitimacy. *Social and material resources are inequitably distributed, perpetuating barriers for Latine administrators seeking advancement. This research sheds light on the complexities of career aspirations and professional pathways for Latine administrators in higher education. It's time to recognize and address the systemic inequalities within university leadership to foster a more inclusive and equitable environment for all. https://lnkd.in/gg2CjTfj #HigherEd #LeadershipResearch #RepresentationMatters #AcademicTwitter #SAPro

Scientific Journal and Newsletter Global Leadership Magazine explains new and international development in evidence-based civic science. Global Leadership is - the emerging evidence-based performance management faculty responsible for governing curricula in all civics faculties of Economics, Law, Business, Finance, Education, Government, and Social Studies. Global Leadership is important - because 90% of large democracies are collapsing while 75% of universities graduate proven-failed theory and ideology-driven indoctrination - instead of education. #business #leadership #education #management #finance #economics #science #universities #law #internationaldevelopment #economicdevelopment #evidencebased #consultancy https://lnkd.in/g_KsmNNq
