The proposed unit will be set up with an investment of 𝐑𝐬 3,300 𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐞. The capacity of this unit will be 60 𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐡 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐲. The chips produced in this unit will cater to a wide variety of applications, including segments such as industrial, automotive, electric vehicles, consumer electronics, telecom, mobile phones, etc. India Semiconductor Mission is committed to a diversified, resilient, and trusted semiconductor ecosystem. Mr. Sharma. No one talks of numbers of chips. It sounds big but need to show information in either 200/300 mm wafers per month. I understand it may look very small but facing real information is key. This will certainly be more than what it is today. You can look at SEMI Gabbie data for reference.

4moCongratulations. As pointed out a few times with your earlier announcements, I suggest to bring accuracy into your announcements. Neither Micron nor this plant are going to "manufacture" chips as claimed many times. These are test and packaging houses and that too not advanced packaging. There are light years between a volume chip manufacturing and its packaging. If as a nation, we want to get into semiconductors, accuracy is a minimal requirement, especially with the majority in this country not having the required background and nomenclature/knowledge. I hope this comment is not removed like last time!
