Over the past decade Evidence-Based Toxicology Collaboration has led the field of #toxicology out of the expert judgement fog and into the open of #transparency using principles of #evidencebasedmedicine Now we are starting to see the fruit of this multi-stakeholder effort in the field and in publications in Evidence-Based Toxicology journal. Pre-publishing the methods and protocols prior to collection of results is, frankly, just simply good science and scientific method. Moreover, submitting the methods to a transparent #peerreview inproves the quality of #research, #reproducibility and #usability of results. Any scientist who wants to have a real impact on the field should consider pre-publishing methods and ask #publishers to accept and peer-review such submissions. If you are doing research in #toxicology, #AE of #pharmaceutical therapies and #environmentalhealth, you may want to consider joining the #openscience movement and responding to the call https://lnkd.in/e8ceMWf7 at Evidence-Based Toxicology Didier Verloo European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) Bernhard Url Emily Sena John R.
