Talk to one viewer through the lens. Why? We view TV and video on our own, at most with 1 or 2 people in the same room as us. Even if 100s, 1000s, or millions of viewers are watching your broadcast, they are all individuals in their own space. Address them singularly and they will connect with you. Replace "Hello everyone, lovely to see you all" with "Hello and welcome to the show, I have a great line-up for you today." #tvpresentingcoach #tvpresentertraining #pukkapresenting

Lunch break insights on "The Death of Peak TV and What it Means for Hollywood". Some highlights from this #SXSW talk by Tyler Aquilina a media analyst for the Variety Intelligence Platform: - Streamers and broadcasters are set to produce less shows overall from now on - the peak TV era is over -Scripted shows will suffer most -We're likely to see more unscripted and foreign/non-English productions, and more reruns of older series -The era of more daring/creative adult dramas may be over: Shows like Mad Men, The Sopranos, or even The Bear may be harder to greenlight from now on -Broadcasters are more likely to invest in broadly appealing four quadrant scripted series with existing IP/built-in audiences (ex. Last of Us) -There will be fewer series but maybe longer seasons -Overall: streaming will start to look a lot more like network television. womp womp.

In these days, it is not surprising when a top-selling tv show turn out to be adapted from an original webtoon or webnovel.
