It wasn't just about getting a certificate; it was about gaining the confidence to potentially save a life in an emergency. The training itself was eye-opening. It wasn't just CPR – we learned about checking responsiveness, using an AED, and how to manage choking victims. It was both practical and informative, with hands-on practice scenarios that solidified the learning - special thanks to Philippine Red Cross for this opportunity! Knowing these skills has instilled a sense of responsibility – a readiness to act if needed. It's a powerful feeling to be equipped to help someone in their most vulnerable moment. Finding the right fit for Crisis Awareness Training in your organization is imperative. Crisis Awareness Training plays a vital role in promoting awareness among public employees about people in crisis situations. De-escalation has always been the number one consideration when creating this program. It is important for individuals in various roles to understand the complexities of interacting with passengers and transit employees, who may be struggling with crisis situations. By providing crisis awareness training, organizations can equip their employees with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively interact with people in crisis to avoid escalation of conflicts. #crsisawarenesstraining #transitoperators #deescalation #avocatingsince2008 Thank you Ed English for allowing me the opportunity to discuss de-escalation and its impact.
