There is certainly a differentiation in market sector products and arguably a degree of differentiation based on functionality within a market sector. With a system to components of product build, solution differentiation can be contained without any deviation from some guy isation, with success being in the selected components manufactured and assembly process. Additional customization is variation to standardization on limited and controlled adaptation, and that is a commercial consideration for the Commission, developer, builder, and the client. The other misconception is some architects can't or won't work from a product system to project. It provides invested returns. It reduces the cost of projects and adds a dimension of front end project compression.
