Giving is about more than making a donation, it is about making a Difference. #GivingTuesday serves as a reminder that small efforts can add up to have huge impacts. When we come together and support causes that mean the most to us, we strengthen our communities and build a better future. Every act of giving creates ripples of progress and positivity. At Wartech Engineering, we believe in the power of community outreach. We are proud to continue our central mission of Supporting US Warfighters. We do this year round by supplying them with tools they need to complete their mission and return home safely, and actively contribute to causes that give them the help and support they need and deserve upon their return home. This Giving Tuesday, we contributed to DAV (Disabled American Veterans), Wounded Warrior Project, and U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to help those who sacrificed so much for our country. We welcome everyone who is willing and able to join us in contributing to these important organizations, or choose a non profit with a cause that is important to you. Remember, giving isn't just an action, it's a mindset. What causes are important to you, and how did you contribute on Giving Tuesday? Share your stories and organizations below to inspire future giving. #giveback #communityoutreach #supportveterans

This weekend, we’re going to race across more than 200 miles through 15 towns on Cape Cod with up to 20-pounds on our backs… Sure, it SUCKS, but do you know what SUCKS even more? It SUCKS to lose someone you love because there were no programs or services available for veterans, who suffered silently after active duty. According to recent surveys, almost 44 veterans kill themselves each day – and that’s 44 veterans a day way too many. The unintended consequences cut deep, reach far and last forever. No one should ever have to experience it, but, unfortunately, many do. How can we help? We can support AMAZING organizations, like HEROES IN TRANSITION INC , that offer unique programs and services to build stronger relationships and better communities for veterans, active service members and their families. ***So, you may be thinking… If it SUCKS, then why do we do it? Simple. WE DO IT – and will continue to do it – FOR THOSE WHO CAN’T.*** Please consider supporting the cause. #HeroesInTransition #Ruck4HIT #4ThoseWhoCant https://lnkd.in/eUr-hxWc

Honoring Our Veterans-on-Veterans Day! Today, we pause to honor and thank the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Their dedication and sacrifice have protected our freedoms and ensured our safety. Here are a few ways we can show our gratitude: Share Their Stories: Highlight the experiences and contributions of veterans within your network. Sharing their stories can inspire and educate others about the sacrifices made by our service members. Support Veteran-Owned Businesses: Promote and support businesses owned by veterans. This not only helps their ventures thrive but also acknowledges their continued contributions to our economy. Donate to Veteran Charities: Consider donating to organizations that provide support and resources to veterans and their families. Every contribution can make a significant impact. Volunteer Your Time: Offer your time to local veterans’ organizations. Whether it’s through mentoring, providing career advice, or simply spending time with veterans, your efforts can make a difference. Advocate for Veterans’ Issues: Use your platform to raise awareness about important issues affecting veterans, such as mental health, employment, and access to healthcare. Thank a Veteran: Sometimes, a simple “thank you” can go a long way. Reach out to veterans in your life and express your gratitude for their service. Let’s come together to honor our veterans and show our appreciation for their unwavering commitment to our country. #VeteransDay #ThankYouVeterans #SupportOurTroops #VeteranStories #VeteranOwned #GiveBack

Day 10 of Giving - Words With Warriors Events It takes unparalleled dedication and determination to serve and protect our country. At the Special Forces Charitable Trust, we are committed to supporting these extraordinary service members as they pursue their PURPOSE—whether continuing their military careers or transitioning to civilian life. Our Words with Warriors events are a vital part of that mission, bringing service members together—both active duty and transitioned—for peer-to-peer connection and support. One of these impactful events, Boots To Business, is designed to provide valuable resources and connections for soldiers preparing to transition out of the military. Did you know that this transition can be one of the most challenging phases of a service member's life, affecting not just them but also their families? Boots To Business offers an evening of networking, connecting transitioning service members with resources and hiring companies to help pave the way for their next chapter. Your contribution—whether as a donor, sponsor, or even as a participating hiring company—can make a profound difference in the lives of these brave individuals. https://lnkd.in/eysq-TAN This holiday season, let’s come together to show our gratitude and support for those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom. #sfcharitabletrust #GiveBack #donatenow #12DaysofGiving #supportnonprofits #sfctgiving

Veterans deserve more than just "Thank you for your service." Today, as I reflect on my years of military service, I want to honor the many veterans who’ve given so much to serve our country. Service requires sacrifice—time away from loved ones, missed milestones, and the strength to endure challenges that many will never know. This Veterans Day, let’s go beyond “Thank you for your service” by showing appreciation in meaningful ways. Here are 10 ways to make a real difference for veterans: 1. Hire a Veteran – Offer career opportunities to veterans or help connect them with job resources. 2. Adopt a Veteran's Family for the Holidays – Support a struggling veteran’s family by helping with gifts or essentials. 3. Volunteer with Veterans’ Organizations – Many local and national organizations need support to provide services for veterans. 4. Donate to Veterans’ Charities – Contributions to reputable veterans’ charities can assist with housing, healthcare, and more. 5. Sponsor a Veteran’s Education – Help fund scholarships or contribute to continuing education programs. 6. Support Veteran-Owned Businesses – Make a point to shop at businesses owned by veterans. 7. Write a Thank-You Letter – Personalized notes mean a lot to veterans and can be part of larger letter-writing initiatives. 8. Visit or Call a Veteran – Spend time with a veteran to show your gratitude and help alleviate feelings of isolation. 9. Provide Free Services – If you have skills or a business, consider offering free services (like counseling, haircuts, or repairs) for veterans. 10. Advocate for Veterans’ Issues – Get involved with legislation and policies that benefit veterans in your community. Happy Veterans Day to all who’ve served. I see you, appreciate you, and honor your sacrifices. #VeteransDay #SupportOurVeterans #HonorThroughAction
