Recently, the governor of Mississippi declared April 2024 Confederate Heritage Month. While I'm not surprised, I am increasingly disgusted in the political decisions made by the public servants of my home state. Enough is enough! #Keirstarmer #Labour #stoppenalisingpensioners If you cut the 25% Single Person Council Tax Discount, I for one will NOT BE PAYING the full rate as I think its unfair that I pay the same as a household with multiple occupants. It is disgraceful that to afford to put in place the things you promised (Labour will ultimately do the same as always, re-neg on most of them), you fund it by cutting services to Pensioners who have paid tax all their lives so the upcoming generations get the benefit of services that weren't available beforehand. What you should consider doing is saying to these IDLE young adults that are milking the benefits system, having multiple children they can not or refuse to support, and simply wont EARN a living, 'you get unemployment assistance' for a maximum of 6 months and then your done, GET A JOB!' These able bodies young benefit scroungers should be required to work for the local council that supports them by collecting trash, tending to communal areas etc instead of collecting their benefits and spending it on alcohol, drugs etc, its a disgrace! I am at a LOSS as to how taking allowances from the elderly is FAIR. We have done our part, worked all our lives with NO BENEFITS system in place to help us, ENGOUGH IS ENGOUGH!

Specific examples of this might include Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s lawbreaking during COVID, the selection of Liz Truss as Prime Minister, the ability of the Government to force controversial policies (such as the Rwanda Bill) and the sacking of the Cabinet Secretaries and Permanent Secretaries. Or does the UK constitution, perhaps in contrast to that of the United States and many other nation states, provide relative freedom to remove unsuitable political and civil service leaders without relative domestic political trauma?

Anthony Furey We have seen a complete all out attack against a truly genuine resident of Toronto, a husband, father, and a person with impeccable morals. He wants a City where your children as well as his own have a safe and functional ability to grow, learn and eventually contribute to its success. This is a municipal election, last I heard there are no “”City Parties””. It’s both unprofessional and to some deemed misinformation the kinds of retoric we have heard from well known politicians from. The liberal and NDP persuasion. The city is hurting both financially and operationally and we need diverse options to find “the best” way forward that is affordable and addresses the challenges we have as the 5th largest city in North America. Diversity in thinking and approaches to problem solving are needed more than ever as the City encounters even more complex issues that have been down loaded from other levels of Gocernment. Let’s stop the name calling , let’s put a man who truly has the focus on the future not for himself but for your and his children’s future. It’s time for a voice that some may find that sounds different, however different is what is needed to articulate and stimulate the best options. Vote Anthony Furey to allow this to happen.
