🚀 Yesterday marked a monumental achievement as the Boeing CST-100 Starliner's crewed test flight successfully launched on a United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V rocket! After much anticipation and overcoming the challenges of a helium leak delay, and a computer sequence delay we can now celebrate this incredible milestone in human spaceflight!🚀😃 This launch is particularly historic as it's the first time humans have launched from Space Launch Complex 41 and the first Human Space Flight Launch from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station since the Apollo 7 mission in 1968. 🧑🚀 Safety always comes first, and this mission exemplifies the dedication and hard work of everyone involved. The launch of the latest Falcon Heavy…SpaceX again this week sets off to outerspace with Europa, Jupiter moon as its destination and will now travel 1.8 billion miles. The launch of the spacecraft at 12:06 local time (16:06 GMT) after hurricane Milton forced the mission to postpone plans last week. A spacecraft that will hunt for signs of alien life on one of Jupiter’s icy , and a deeply mysterious moon, Europa Clipper. But it will not arrive until 2030 but what it finds could change what we know about life in our solar system. Trapped under the moon’s surface could be a vast ocean with double the amount of water on Earth. Distributed spacecraft autonomy is an absolute must to increase resiliency in space operations. This contract extension with NASA will showcase advanced inter-satellite distance measurement and improved star tracker-based navigation capabilities for the innovative Starling mission. This extension builds upon the resounding success of CesiumAstro’s custom-developed CommPack cross-link communications payload, which achieved Technology Readiness Level 9 (TRL 9) status in late 2023. This contract extension addresses NASA’s advanced requirement for precise distance measurements between satellites, further enhancing the capabilities of the Starling mission’s collaborative “swarm” of spacecraft.
