CEO @Scoutflo - Self-service Infrastructure Platform | 30 under 30 SDR | Ex-Zoominfo

Online Demos Are Dead! 💀 I’ve been selling software virtually for over 5 years, so when we started Scoutflo, I didn’t expect much to change. We’ve spoken to many CXOs virtually and received great feedback. But last week was different. Vedant Vyawahare and I conducted 20 demos offline in just 5 days, and here’s what we learned from closely interacting with engineering leaders: 1. Engineering Cost = People Cost + Cloud Spend - Being lean is critical, especially for companies with small teams. Many adopt a multi-cloud strategy early on to maximize vendor credits, which often lead to opinionated systems that lock them in too soon. 2. Lack of a Clear Audit Trail Creates Troubleshooting Chaos - Infrastructure changes directly through Kubectl without documentation can quickly spiral into a nightmare while troubleshooting. 3. Staging and Dev environments are expensive bottlenecks - To cut cloud costs, some companies shut down their staging and development environments during off-hours. While this saves money, it can lead to Manual Errors, In-active Resources, and Long Restart Times. To tackle these challenges, Scoutflo is super bullish on 3 features: - GitOps first infra and service deployments - Multi-Cloud resource management from Day 0 - Ephemeral Environment [short-lived test environments on K8s] If you’ve faced similar issues, DM us. We’d like to know what DevOps problems you’re facing in your organization! #DevOps #DeveloperExperience #Kubernetes
