Since 2016, Asteras Vouliagmenis has been owned by AGC Equity Partners, a Fund from the United Arab Emirates, following a tender run by HRADF in collaboration with National Bank of Greece. This concerned 88.5% of the shares of Astir Palas Vouliagmeni AXE. Then the new owners of Asteras Vouliagmenis invested an additional €140 million in order to renovate the "Nafsika" and "Arion" hotels, which were managed by Four Seasons. The third hotel which was "Aphrodite" was demolished and divided into 13 plots, which were bought by Diamantis Diamantis and Marianna Latsis. With these moves, the Arabs of AGC have more than made up for their investment in less than a decade, while retaining 70% of the Four Seasons Hotel and the beach and fully owning the Marina. From the sale of the thirteen plots that were created on the site of the Aphrodite hotel, the largest share has been acquired by the shipowner Diamantis Diamantidis. The plots purchased by the shipowner will be consolidated, resulting in villas of up to 3,000 acres being built. The new generation of the Latsis family is expected to acquire two villas, entirely for personal use. The most recent development is the acquisition of 30% of Asteras Vouliagmenis by George Prokopiou, who is willing to pay the amount of €300 million. The Greek shipowner bought ⅓ of the Four Seasons Hotel and Asteras beach. In any case, it must be emphasized that the villas will be the most expensive in Europe and the selling price will be between 90 and 100 thousand euros per square meter.
