Hey everyone, I wanted to share a cool win from last month. We helped a US-based client—a travel planning app—boost their downloads, even though we were working with a pretty lean budget. Here’s how we made it happen:
1️⃣ We started with a few consulting sessions to really understand the app inside and out.
2️⃣ From there, we have identified the main benefits for the users and fine-tuned their USP, focusing on what actually matters to users.
3️⃣ Then, we used those insights to tweak the website, App Store, and Play Store copy, shifting the focus from features to the benefits - how the app helps people.
4️⃣ We kicked off with a YouTube campaign, targeting folks searching for things to do in the app's key destinations.
5️⃣ We also wrote scripts for some UGC videos and found creators in the US and Mexico to bring those ideas to life.
6️⃣ Finally, we used those videos in Meta ads across Facebook and Instagram.
The end result? More app downloads, for a way cheaper price. I'll drop some Google Analytics screenshots below to show the numbers.
However, I have advised the client to make a key change to the business model that will also impact their marketing. After some thought, they’ve decided to take my advice and move in that direction. So, exciting times ahead! :)
