Katherine, what is that picture...? 😅 That, my friends, is the "Impact Up Fund" proudly created by my stepson for our Playa Del Carmen ImpactUp event, organized and led by We Are For Good While it may seem like a simple and charming glass container, it represents much more. This little pot is a beacon for the future. -- 👉 One of the biggest factors in driving long-term change is how much the future generation cares about environmental, animal, and social issues. After all, children are the future of humanity. Involving youth in non-profit initiatives is a fantastic way to spark their curiosity and openness. By introducing them to important concepts early on, we can inspire them to learn how they can make a difference. 🤸 Children are like sponges, absorbing knowledge and experiences from their environment. It's crucial to make them feel valued in non-profit work so they can grow to love it as much as we do! Not only is this good for the planet, but from my observation, it is also incredible for youth to help them develop a sense of belonging and responsibility. It also can be incredibly gratifying for them! 🧠 From a very young age, Kade has been involved in many of my non-profit activities. He is brimming with creativity and constantly thinking about how the world works. When given the space and proper encouragement, it's amazing how much young people can contribute to your non-profit and to the world! 💭 What are your thoughts on the role of the youth in non-profit work? P.S. Did you know that family or early involvement in philanthropy is a key factor in future donor retention according to a recent study? Share what you are doing to involve the younger generation in your non-profit or let us know your best ideas so that we can all draw inspiration from you and help youth cultivate a true passion for the work we do! Too often, we hear the phrase "non-profit" and immediately think it means "no profit." This misconception can hinder the growth and impact of mission-centric organizations. When non-profits apply for-profit strategies, they're often judged harshly, yet these strategies can be key to maximizing their effectiveness. Let's challenge this flawed thought process. Donating to a cause should be about maximizing the impact of our contributions, not restricting how organizations operate. By embracing innovative, profit-driven approaches, non-profits can scale their initiatives, drive sustainability, and amplify their missions. It's time we support and encourage non-profits to think and act like businesses—strategically, efficiently, and with a focus on long-term success. Together, we can redefine what it means to make a difference. #NonProfit #Innovation #Impact #SocialGood #StrategicGrowth #Philanthropy #MissionDriven

Social change will be driven by good people. Not by governments. Not by institutions. That's truer now than ever before. And it means that nonprofits - big, small, global, local - play a critical role in shaping the future of social good. "#GiveHopeDaily - The Power of Business for Social Good! The Do it Best Foundation has shown what corporate social responsibility really means by exceeding their fundraising goal for local non-profits. This was done through their annual golf outing, a simple but effective way of collecting funds for organizations dedicated to children's health and well-being. This proves the wonderful impact businesses can have when they partner with non-profits. But let’s address a common overlook; marketing your non-profit can be a real challenge, but don't get discouraged! The Do it Best Foundation's success story proves it's possible. We can all learn from them and adopt creative ways to market our causes. Stay inspired, dear non-profit leaders! Connect with your audiences, craft compelling narratives around your cause, and keep up the amazing work you're doing. Remember, it's not just about raising funds, it's about building a community that believes in your mission. How best do you think we can market our non-profits? Let's continue this conversation. #NonProfitSuccess #BusinessGivingBack #MarketingSolutions" *Please note that I kept the post under the 1300 characters limit as per your request.
