Jettison divert between 80 and 90% of the waste we collect AWAY from landfill. We do this by separating and sorting waste into categories for recycling - paper, wood, metal, waste electrical and IT etc. We also actively look out for good quality, useable items which are then donated to our friends at the Halliday Foundation. These guys have a unit in the same industrial estate as us and they pop in once a week to fill their truck with furniture, white goods, crockery and other household items which go to their service users who are setting up homes after being homeless. This circular way of working means everyone wins. Our clients receive the best service, safe in the knowledge their waste is going to all the right places,.
