Julius Baer’s Post

In the second edition of our ‘A view from’ series, we visit Chief Communications Officer Larissa Alghisi in Zurich: Welcome to my office at Bahnhofstrasse in the middle of Zurich! My window overlooks the city’s elegant shopping mile that leads from the central station straight to Lake Zurich. To be specific, I have a perfect view of the shop windows on the opposite side of the street – jewels and watches, Tod’s and Chanel. The location is a source of inspiration for our premium brand ambition. It is also a reminder of what our clients expect from us: only the best is good enough! A special perk of my window in the current holiday season is to be able to see the beautiful linden trees, which are covered by the first snow of 2024, as well as enjoy the festive ‘Lucy’ lights. When the latter are turned on at the end of November, our colleagues of the Swiss market set up their mulled wine stand for evening shoppers to collect funds for the Julius Baer Foundation https://lnkd.in/ebrVjbDq Our connection to Bahnhofstrasse has long-standing roots: Our headquarters at number 36 was acquired from the Swiss National Bank in 1925 – correct, we have a Bahnhofstrasse centenary coming up next year. So, please stay tuned for more! I can assure you we won’t just look back, and certainly not only at Zurich. While this is where it all started, we have always been forward thinkers with a view to the world beyond Bahnhofstrasse.

A look behind the curtain - great series & thanks for letting me share my view 💙
