Took a step back this week to sit down with Finn Lobsien and pull back the curtains to share the behind the scenes of building sales at CommandBar 👀 Excited to see our latest stats: 35% quarter-over-quarter revenue growth! 🎉 To give you all some insights, we published a blog on how we built our sales team from the ground up including the awesome team we have today and all the tools we use to power it. But there’s one thing that’s easy to forget: You don’t learn sales in school. You learn it from experiences and from those who came before you. That’s especially important at CommandBar. We value trust and relationships over quick sales. That’s why we’re always learning from those who are great at it, people like Josh Braun Nick Cegelski Christopher Voss Keenan 🎯 Want to read the full piece? Check out the link in the comments! 👇

Leaving Småland after two days at the Kuehne+Nagel Sweden Growth Summit with our Sales community, I'm reminded of just how ambitious our growth goals truly are—and how crucial Sales is to our success. The expectations are sky-high, and the pressure to deliver is real. But instead of diving into strategies or endless slides, we spent these two days on something far more fundamental: TRUST. Trust. A small word, easy to spell, but incredibly challenging to build and even harder to truly feel. Yet, I believe it’s the winning strategy that turns a group of individuals into a team, transforms a vision into a mission, and redefines challenges as opportunities. It’s not about the big gestures; trust is found in the everyday moments—listening without judgment, keeping promises, and being brave enough to give honest feedback, even when it’s uncomfortable. It’s these moments that bind us together. We could have gone through the 200-slide PowerPoint deck, but instead, we chose to invest in trust. It won’t happen overnight. We all know that trust isn’t just given; it’s earned, slowly and consistently. The autumn has only just begun, but I'm stoked to see where it takes us. Thank you team for a great few days! Let’s keep building together, one step at a time - the rest will follow.

Pushing myself to approach every interaction with a Symbiotic Sales mindset by fostering: 1. Trust 2. Transparency 3. Cognitive Awareness 4. Convenience What Hannah says about society today really resonates. We are in a place where we are very mistrusting and have our guard up. I often catch myself feeling this way. Creating purchasing processes with empathy in mind is more important than ever. #sales #symbioticsales #transparency #empathy

Gift-Giving in Sales: When It Helps and When It Hurts In this insightful video, I address a common question from my good friend Manos in Greece about the practice of giving gifts to clients as a professional salesperson. Manos wanted to know what portion of a salesperson’s income should be allocated to gifts or dinners for customers. I provide thoughtful guidance, emphasizing that while gestures of appreciation can be meaningful, the true gift lies in doing your job well. A professional salesperson’s greatest offering is ensuring that the customer is better off as a result of the sale. This video offers valuable perspective for anyone looking to balance generosity with professionalism. Paul J. Heidema
