Lots of companies hiring in Automation and Controls. Why don’t I have tons of jobs posted? Because just like you need to investigate and research if a company is worthy of working for, I do the same. Many companies have no idea how to hire, attract talent or retain that talent. Why? They don’t know how to run a successful business. If you don’t want to work for them, why would I? Qualify your job prospects like you would clients. Or call me and ask how to spot the good ones!
Most excellent Jordan It is truly a field of land-mines out there for any level engineer looking for work. The worst landmine is the Bouncing Betty type......where an engineer or recruiter is basically the client's "yesterday's trash", bounced out the door when a small esoteric project is completed. The most common landmine is the exploding "expectations" landmine, where only Achilles would pass an interview and the subsequent vetting, and the chemical landmine where a toxic environment spells the engineer's and recruiter's doom. I'm not sure about the amount of jobs out there, but I am sure that hiring nowadays is trench warfare for an engineer and his/her recruiter.
Thank you Jordan... Atleast you keep posted for the market scenarios which help us to get ear ideas on market requirements....
