LinkedIn: This is the networking template I used when I sent updates to my connections regarding my progress every quarter. If you need more templates, find it here: https://bit.ly/351yiy2, but let's break it down so you can do the same: 💡 First, I start with a welcoming paragraph and restate when we last spoke (I'll keep tabs on what month we had our last interaction) 💡 Next, I'll give an update on what I've been up to for the past 3 months/quarter and give 2-3 lines of updates; these can be regarding work, personal, university, and more 💡Lastly, a call to action; this can be to chat on the phone, get an update from them, or engage again in conversation Hope this is helpful on your #JobSearch and follow for more! #JWoW #Wonsulting
Maintaining an active network on LinkedIn is crucial for long-term success on the platform. Thanks Jonathan for the reminder and the template.
This is awesome! Thanks for proving us with the best templates, Jonathan!!🙏🏽
I occasionally like and comment on their posts so they remember me :) definitely need to start sending updates again
Networking is all about strategy. This is 1 way you can stay organized. I’ve considered using a CRM to keep track of everyone I network with. Just a thought!
Thank you for sharing this!! May I ask how many people you follow up with at a time? I have several connections that come to mind that I would like to keep in touch with, but maybe my problem is having too many to keep up with. Should there be a few at top of mind? Curious to know your thoughts. Thanks!
This is great stuff it’s templates and routines that can make such a difference
Love that you made the cadence quarterly Jonathan. Too many job seekers think you need to be connecting and updating every week to build relationships. That's not true, especially when you're in a good place and networking for the long term!
Thanks for sharing! I feel like there isn’t much content on how to maintain a relationship with your network!
This is a smart tip. Thanks for sharing

2yI just stalk people occasionally so that they know I've "seen their profile", it works too :DDD
