In my previous post, I mentioned that who you partner with can differentiate good from great. I am still shocked every time I meet with a site for the first time and I hear how volatile their supply chain is. I often hear that having back up suppliers and product substitutions are a necessity for production to continue. What defines Fastenal is our ability to move beyond being a supplier by building partnerships with our customers.
