Joby Aviation’s Post

We've successfully completed a series of test flights in Korea as part of the K-UAM Grand Challenge, demonstrating a series of various flight profiles including fully wing-borne flight. A huge step towards launching commercial air taxi service in Korea! Read more about our participation in the K-UAM Grand Challenge alongside our 'Dream Team' partners SK Telecom, Hanwha Group, 티맵모빌리티 (TMAP MOBILITY) and Korea Airports Corporation (KAC, 한국공항공사). https://lnkd.in/esZbxzTQ

All these sedate moderate demo flights are great but they are a far cry from the type of flights that will be required for certification. Edge of the flight envelope maneuvering, engine failures etc. let’s see some demonstration flights showing these aspects instead of just simple pattern flights.

It was an honor to perform the Grand Challenge with Joby friends, and to complete each demonstration without a safety hazard was more valuable than anything else

Awesome. As an airplane + helicopter pilot, the Joby S4 is the only eVTOL aircraft I'd be willing to fly in.
