JENOPTIK’s Post

World Wildlife Conservation Day is today and to help bring awareness our Environmental Awareness Committee recently took part in a beach cleanup hosted by Friends of Jupiter Beach in Florida. The cleanup event had 276 volunteers total, including our colleagues, who assisted in collecting 195 lbs. of trash and 45 lbs. of recyclables! Florida’s world-famous beaches are culturally and economically important, providing a habitat for threatened and endangered coastal wildlife as well as storm and flood protection for coastal communities. Cleaning up garbage pollution is one way locals and tourists alike can contribute to ocean conservation. Thank you to all the volunteers who showed up to help do our part in protecting these unique and beautiful spaces! Learn more about our commitment to sustainability: https://lnkd.in/gQWiqwhz
