Humanity shines brightest when acts of kindness and compassion are witnessed, especially in the world of entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurs not only innovate and create new markets but also genuinely strive to improve things for others. This natural urge to help reflects a deep sense of empathy found in many entrepreneurs. I've personally experienced this generosity on my own entrepreneurial journey, with numerous individuals stepping in to guide and support me. It's incredible to see successful entrepreneurs using their resources to support newcomers, viewing their success as a tool for broader change and fostering a spirit of community. This cycle of support highlights the interconnectedness within the entrepreneurial world. By assisting one another, everyone from startup founders to established business leaders strengthens the entire business community. Acts of kindness like mentoring, investing in new ventures, and sharing insights demonstrate the powerful impact of collaboration and generosity across business boundaries. No competition, but the readiness to lend a hand, especially by those with the resources to make an impact, fuels innovation and unity. This showcases the potential for good that entrepreneurship holds, not only in creating economic value but also in building a supportive, vibrant community. Witnessing this firsthand has not only aided my professional growth but has also inspired me to pay it forward whenever possible.

There is no right age to do something❗ You want to found a start-up at the age of 20? Go for it. ✅ You want to start studying at the age of 30? Go for it. ✅ You want to start a completely new career at the age of 40? Go for it. ✅ You want to become an entrepreneur at the age of 50? Go for it. ✅ You want to found a start-up at the age of 50? Go for it. ✅ You want to do a new apprenticeship or further training at any age? Go for it. ✅ Do what's good for you and what makes you happy. This immediately after school into training/studying, then in your 20s just have a permanent job and don't change anything is just as much a thing of the past as this you have to be a young founder/entrepreneur or you have to have 154 years of experience (and be a fresh 18). ❌

The African market even with the attendant population is still a tad small especially when you consider her GDP per capita and disposable incomes. As the video rightly put it, you have to engage in multiple different businesses to balance the equation as an African entrepreneur. Methinks it’s even worse in tech entrepreneurship. The reason you don’t get to see loads of tech unicorns in this clime. What’s your take?
