Though I have been self-employed for many years, I have enjoyed the times I was on a team. My experiences should overshadow having a degree. To disregard ones experiences for a piece of paper seems short sighted. The main thing I and anyone can learn in life is, learning from others mistakes allows one to make less mistakes of their own. Being supposedly over qualified for a spot on the team should not worry a team leader; but should be embraced. I have just over 7 yrs armed security. Last 2 yrs doing duty at federal buildings in the bay area. I have level 2 background clearance. My Fl security D & G Licenses are current. I allowed my Fl real estate Lic to expire during these times. I co-founded/co-owned an 8 unit mom n pop motel. The motel had been closed and abandoned for nearly 3 yrs. I Oversaw all aspects of the rehab, advertising and operations. Within 2nd yr of being opened we were on tripadvisors recommended list. I accepted a buyout after 7 yrs. I have over 2 decades experience in commercial property mgmnt. I cared for apartment buildings, shopping plazas and motels. Managing all aspects of operations. I cared for properties totaling 11 million dollars. Housing 500 tenants. Plus Pets. I am incredibly intune with all aspects of property mgmnt. security, interviews, overseeing contractors, evictions, tenant disputes, setting rent rates and all etcs. I would attend comm assoc meetings for the propertys area atleast once every 4 months. I had my own small agency. I moved to Fl in 2004 and managed properties until going in as co-founder of my motel; prior to 2004 I lived in Md where I started my property mgmnt career. I was a catering chef for 2 yrs. Then promoted to personnel mgr. I oversaw interviewing, hiring, training and re-training of existing employees and scheduling, Then was combined to managing all aspects of party function, inventory controls, facilities designs, setup, shipping and receiving, security practices and sales walk throughs. I did this over 11 yrs. I had my own landscaping co. I started when I was 16 yrs old. I designed with property owners the look they wanted, did the excavation, purchasing and planting. I did this for 5 yrs. When I was 12 yrs old I sold personalized christmas cards door to door for commission. I did this 3 yrs. I look forward to meeting and discussing how I can fill your needs.
