This is interesting! I don't think the search habits will change drastically over a short period, but it's always best to know your options. Javier Guerra
Interesting to know, thanks for keeping me up to date on the latest in tech
Thought-provoking I agree that search is evolving as we speak.
Fascinating development! Definitely curious to give SearchGPT a try and see how it compares, Javier Guerra!
Would depend on its utility in the end. So much is starting to suck about Google, with their exclusive access to Reddit, denying Bing and other search engines I wonder if searchGPT is trained on Reddit and able to access? Personally I find myself relying on search engines less and less with all the things going on. I join communities and engage with others in most things I'm curious about, the answers are better.
I am very thankful that I am seeing some competitors of Google Javier Guerra
Thanks for sharing
More options are good. What are your thoughts on this Damon Burton?
That's awesome! Thank you for sharing this 😎 Javier

4moHonestly, it's about time we see some competition for Google Search. What improvements have we really seen Google make that has been transformational for users? SearchGPT looks really interesting. I have stopped using Google search for many informational and research searches now, it's a serious pain, and we have all had to live with. Google has shaped search results in a way that drives people towards clicking on adverts, which has been more about generating revenue than improving the actual search experience for users. They’ve had the chance to revolutionise search over the years but chose to focus more on ad revenue instead. With SearchGPT entering the scene, it’s going to be interesting to see how Google reacts. I’m also keen to see how ChatGPT plans to make money from search. Hopefully, they’ll introduce an option where you can pay for extra perks and allow them to skip the ads altogether, keeping the emphasis on the quality of the service rather than profiting from ads.
