It all started when local, Sanjay, who was working in the upper Himalayans where he found a baby in a wooden box and he came up with the idea to build a baby warmer, named Nyano Nani. Nyano Nani was a collaboration between NEOMED and the Nepal Innovation Center with medical leads Nik Brzezinski (M4), Scott Everett (M4) and Zoya Khan (M2) and won The People's Choice Award at NEOMED NEOvations Bench to Bedside Competition in 2022. I conquered my first 4,000-meter peak, celebrating the first 4,000 hours of Syensqo's existence! In my life as well as in my company, exploration is our DNA, and curiosity is an asset. It's my way of living at any time, everywhere with everything! For me, sport is a way to embody this philosophy and to become a better person. I am aware of my strengths, of my limitations that I push everyday and the impact I might have on the people around me, and vice versa. We recently climbed the amazing Gran Paradiso in Italy with my sister and a guide – our first 4,000-meter peak! Over those 3 days, we learned and experienced a lot: the importance of teamwork "la cordée", the power of authenticity, the impact of resilience and the importance of everyone feeling comfortable being themselves. Emotions were present too – we felt scare, tiredness and doubts, but also joy, pride and dignity. During the journey, a quote from my CEO, Ilham Kadri, came to my mind. Talking about the "Power of And," she declared that we can be inspired by our past and engaged in our future. This gives me the power to go beyond my limits, putting my feet in the steps of other guides while having the appetite to discover something new at the peak, enriched by this experience. This is my definition of exploration: leveraging the experiences of others (Ernest, our founder, became an alpinist at 60 years old!) while visiting the unknown, keeping in mind that the impossible is possible (at anytime, everywhere with everything) #Syensqo #WeAreExplorers #ExplorersInAction
