I've been dedicating my free time outside my internship to coding—yes, that's a lot of coding! One of the projects I've been working on is AI-Hub, aimed at enhancing my coding skills and exploring new frontiers in AI technology. Here's a glimpse into what I used and learned: 🚀 AI-Hub Project Overview: AI-Hub is an ambitious endeavor to integrate various AI capabilities into a single platform. From AI-driven chat and image generation to video creation, code development, and music production, it's all about harnessing the power of AI to innovate and create. 🛠️ Tech Stack: - Frontend & Backend: Leveraging the versatility of Next.js for seamless integration and performance. - ORM: Using Prisma for efficient and scalable database operations. - Authentication & Database: Supabase provides secure authentication and robust database management. - Payments: Stripe ensures smooth and secure transactions for premium services. - Real-time Customer Service: Crisp integration for instant customer support and engagement. - AI Integration: Leveraging OpenAI and Replicate APIs expanded the project's AI capabilities, enabling more innovative features. 📚 Key Learnings: - Full-Stack Proficiency: Developing with Next.js empowered me to handle both frontend and backend tasks efficiently. - Database Management: Prisma simplified data handling, making database interactions straightforward and reliable. - Security and Authentication: Integrating Supabase enhanced project security with its comprehensive authentication features. - Monetization: Implementing Stripe for payments was a valuable lesson in integrating third-party services seamlessly. - User Engagement: Utilizing Crisp for real-time customer support significantly improved user interaction and satisfaction. Its been a great first year at Sunholo... The Technical Bits --- We've crafted the Sunholo Python library through precisely 1,284 commits - yes, we counted. Between developing cognitive design frameworks and dynamic adaptive UX solutions, we've been quite busy building tools that make AI more accessible and practical. Our Collaborative Adventures --- Working across green energy, education, finance, and marketing sectors has been illuminating. Our solutions are saving thousands of hours of work and improving output quality, though our clients deserve the real credit for their vision and trust. Living With AI --- We've thoroughly embraced AI assistants for everything from strategic planning to philosophical debates. It turns out machines make surprisingly good sparring partners for technical discussions, website development, and even the occasional existential pondering. A Growing Community --- The GenAI community has been wonderfully welcoming. We've built relationships with brilliant minds at LangFuse, LlamaIndex, LangChain, and various AI meetups. In particular watching Google roll out impressive technologies like Vertex AI Search, Cloud Run GPUs, and Gemini Flash has kept us on our toes. The Learning Curve --- Somewhere between mastering streaming architectures and wrestling with asynchronous programming, we've launched a blog, deepened our React expertise, and developed novel GenAI solutions. There's something rather satisfying about constantly learning in such a rapidly evolving field. Looking Forward --- As for the next 12 months? We're quietly optimistic about expanding our AI solutions and building more partnerships. The pace of innovation shows no signs of slowing, and we're rather looking forward to what comes next. The next wave of models are already rolling out with increased cognitive, speed and cost improvements. Day 3 of #100DaysOfCode 🚀 Excited to share my progress on Savvy Sam, the AI-powered stock predictor app I’m building! Today, I focused on designing a user-friendly interface for the app. The interface allows users to input up to three stock tickers at a time, making it easy to track multiple stocks and get personalized insights. Behind the scenes, Savvy Sam uses: Polygon.io API for real-time stock market data and OpenAI’s GPT-4, an advanced large language model (LLM), to interpret the data and deliver meaningful stock predictions and advice. Yesterday, I did more of prompt engineering. When working with AI models like GPT-4, context is king. To get the best results, you need to craft clear and precise prompts. For example, instead of asking, “What do you think about this stock?”, a better prompt would be: "Based on historical data and trends from TSLA what are the potential market movements in the next quarter?" This specificity helps the AI model focus on relevant details, leading to more accurate and useful outputs. Prompt engineering is a game-changer when integrating AI into apps! Diving deep into the realm of generative AI last week has been an exhilarating journey! I'm thrilled to share that I've been working on developing a chatbot leveraging Google's Gemini technology and the MERN stack. Initially, it responded to questions in isolation, but now, with iterative improvements, it can factor in previous prompts and responses, creating a more dynamic and engaging conversation experience. As I continue to refine and enhance this project, I am eager to share more updates as this project evolves, and I'm excited about the opportunities may generative AI and software development may unlock in the future. Cognition Lab has announced their first fully autonomous AI software engineer, Devin AI. According to Cognition, Devin AI is not just a coding assistant but more like a teammate that helps build complex code pipelines. Devin AI's capabilities, as claimed by Cognition, look like the job description of a real software engineer. It can build and deploy apps end-to-end, autonomously find and fix bugs in codebases, train and fine-tune its own AI models, address bugs and feature requests in open-source repositories, contribute to mature production repositories, and even do real jobs on Upwork! Moreover, Devin AI has achieved a whopping 13.86% resolutions in the SWE Benchmark, making it the highest scorer in solving real-life GitHub issues.
