We’re here—the final full work week of the year. The holidays are just around the corner, and the finish line is in sight. This is the time to show what we’re made of by staying focused, working safely, and finishing strong. No matter your role, you have the power to lead, inspire, and set the tone. Stay in the game, and don’t let the rush to wrap things up cloud your judgment. Each of us has a responsibility to do it right—for ourselves, our teams, and the people waiting for us at home. Rushing through the finish line can lead to mistakes, injuries, or worse. Instead, let’s double-check our steps, look out for one another, and make every decision count. Safe work today ensures a safe holiday next week. Challenge yourself: Who are you working for today? Picture them. Work like their happiness depends on your choices—because it does. Let’s close out 2024 with pride, knowing we stayed sharp, stayed safe, and delivered on everything this year has thrown at us. We’ve got this—let’s finish like champions and go home safe to celebrate what truly matters.

Now that the holidays are behind us let’s take a moment to reflect on how something as simple as a Holiday party can profoundly influence company culture. 🎉 Studies show that holiday parties are essential for team bonding and fostering a positive work environment. They help improve communication, strengthen relationships, and even boost productivity. More than just a festive occasion, a Christmas party is a powerful tool for building a stronger, more engaged workforce. Here’s how: 🔗 **Building Relationships:** Holiday parties allow employees to connect outside of the office, promoting camaraderie and a sense of belonging within the team. 👏 **Recognition & Appreciation:** A well-organized event can highlight employees’ hard work throughout the year, boosting morale and creating a culture of appreciation. ⚖️ **Encouraging Work-Life Balance:** The festive atmosphere allows employees to recharge, demonstrating that the company values their well-being and fosters a healthy work-life balance. 🌟 **Fostering a Positive Culture:** Celebrating the holidays together helps build unity, trust, and loyalty, improving the overall workplace culture. 🎯 **Employee Motivation:** When employees feel valued and recognized, it can increase engagement and inspire them to stay committed to the company’s success in the coming year. 🤝 **Promoting Inclusion:** A thoughtfully planned Holiday party can create an inclusive environment that embraces diverse backgrounds and builds employee respect. 🎁 **Incentivizing Participation:** Fun activities, awards, and raffles can motivate employees to get involved, creating lasting connections with the company beyond monetary incentives. Ultimately, a company Christmas party is more than just a celebration; it’s a morale booster and a reminder of the company’s appreciation for its team. It’s a simple way to create a more engaged, motivated, and loyal workforce. #CompanyCulture #EmployeeEngagement #HolidaySpirit #TeamBuilding #EmployeeAppreciation #Community

It’s been a whirlwind year, but think about how you can bring a little festivity into the office. It doesn’t have to be a big whole thing because that can be a little much, right? But something to show the team you appreciate them and the hard work that they’ve put in over the last year would be a great way to round out the year. And do the same for clients! Small tokens of gratitude (though maybe not the standard desk calendar; we’ve had enough of those) are great ways to show how much you cherish their business. Happy holidays! #holidays #business #ClientRelationships #morale #BusinessTips

Creating a culture of wellness takes intentionality and time. As a wellness tech company, BetterYou strives to walk the walk and create unique ways for our team to find time in the day for their health. One area we do this is through instituting a Summer Four Day Work Week. From Memorial Day (5/27) to Labor Day (9/2), BetterYou team members work four days per week. This is our third summer with this policy in effect. Here’s what we discovered the past two: 1) People feel happier and more effective when they have an extra day to enjoy summer time each week (especially with a majority of team members in Minnesota where warm weather is so fleeting) 2) Continuing to hit weekly goals required finding ways to be more intentional with how we spend our time such as blocking deep work times and creating & sticking to top priorities each week 3) We were able to maintain our target goal attainment metrics to move the company forward Time is our most valuable resource - how will you spend yours this summer? 🤔☀

𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗮 𝗹𝘂𝘅𝘂𝗿𝘆. My staff member wanted a week off in Shanghai. My response? "Absolutely! Go enjoy yourself." That's what I told my team member when she mentioned her upcoming holiday. I didn't just say it. I meant it. 𝗪𝗵𝘆? Because self-care isn't a luxury. It's a 𝗡𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆. In our office, we don't just talk about work-life balance. We live it. One of our unique perks? A free ride for staff. Once a year. But it's more than that. It's about creating a culture where taking time off isn't just allowed. It's encouraged. Because here's the truth: ↘ Burnt-out employees can't give their best. ↘ Overworked teams don't innovate. ↘ Tired minds make mistakes. So when my team member told me about her vacation plans, I didn't just nod. I urged her to go. ↗ To disconnect. ↗ To recharge. ↗ To come back refreshed. Because that's how we build a strong team. That's how we foster creativity. That's how we deliver our best work. It's not just about perks. It's about the mindset 🧠 . A mindset that says: ➖ "Your well-being matters." ➖ "Your life outside work is important." ➖ "We trust you to manage your time." So, when was the last time you truly disconnected? When did you last encourage your team to do the same? Remember: ➖ Self-care isn't selfish. ➖ It's smart business. Let's build workplaces where vacations aren't just allowed. They're celebrated. Because the best work happens when we're at our best. And sometimes, being at our best means stepping away. So, go ahead. Take that vacation✈️. Your work will thank you for it. #holiday #travel #selfcare #employeebenefit
