Did you know that an anastomotic leak can add $24,129 to hospital costs? Intracorporeal anastomosis has been shown to reduce the risk of leaks in right hemicolectomies compared with extracorporeal anastomosis. However, this SPEQ was only completed in 54% of the 389 right hemicolectomies we studied. Get the report to learn more about the study: https://hubs.la/Q02MCm-N0

This study investigates the feasibility of using QFR in Heart Team discussions for determining optimal revascularization strategies in patients with MVD. It found substantial agreement between the QFR and FFR methods, suggesting that QFR is a viable non-invasive alternative to FFR. This could simplify the decision-making process in clinical settings by reducing reliance on invasive FFR measurements and potentially speeding up procedural times.
