In the world today, as it's always been, building trust is really important. I've been lucky enough to spend much of this year working with Nevil Tynemouth from New Results Ltd and he has introduced me to Charles H. Green’s Trust Equation. It reminds us that trust is built on credibility, reliability, intimacy, and low self-interest. There's a great 33 minute listen on YouTube by the man himself, definitely worth half and hour of your time. The MCS has announced the redevelopment of its scheme in a bid to improve standards and consumer protections. Following a year-long consultation and due to launch in January 2025 the MCS is making 6 key changes: ❌ Consumer code membership is no longer mandatory 🔍 Standardised assessments 🤝 Direct Relationship with MCS 📉 Less focus on paperwork, greater focus on quality 😡 Centralised customer complaint management 🕝 Risked based approach to frequency of assessments What changes would you like to see made to the industry?
