Championing the #inclusivity in #shorttermrental industry - #iwd2024 - check out this article ⬇️
On #internationalwomensday2024, we present two incredible female ambassadors for the #shorttermrental sector who need little introduction but who are making great strides to make the industry more inclusive and to support female leaders in wider business circles. Fiona Campbell, chief executive of the Association of Scotland's Self-Caterers, and Sally Henry, vice president of business development EMEA at Key Data, are set to launch a new initiative called #WomenCelebratingWomen and spoke about the launch and what it will entail at this week's Vacation Rental Management Association (VRMA) European Conference in #Paris. A big thank you to Fiona and Sally for speaking so honestly and candidly [with a healthy dose of humour thrown in too] about their experiences and motivations for introducing this initiative, and about creating a safe space for women to share their own experiences. A must-watch interview! ShortTermRentalz International Hospitality Media Limited #womencelebratingwomen #iwd2024 #shorttermrentals #vacationrentals

I appreciate working for an organization that takes its stated values seriously and doesn't just pay them lip service. PEO strives to make *every day* #internationalwomensday. #regulator #modernregulator #ontarioregulator #inhousecounsel #PEO
PEO hosted an all-staff event to celebrate International Women’s Day. Our coffee-chat featured PEO CEO/Registrar, Jennifer Quaglietta, ICD.D, P.Eng, MBA, and PEO EDI Manager, Kay Mehrizi, to share insightful perspectives on how they #InspireInclusion; their background, experiences and challenges. Staff had the opportunity to connect with peers and participate in meaningful discussions. Happy #IWD2024! 🫶

This International Women’s Day let’s celebrate our strengths, our resilience and our achievements. When we’re feeling stressed and/or chronically ill, it’s easy to believe that we are the only person going through this, so we can tend to isolate ourselves. But this is where the importance of community comes in, the importance of leaning into the love and support of those around as well. Whether that support is online or face-to-face. So when you’re next feeling isolated remember to reach out and receive that support because we really are stronger together. On this International Women’s Day let’s celebrate the strength, resilience and achievements of women everywhere. Let’s celebrate our own strengths, resilience and achievements. Happy International Women’s Day. #InternationalWomen’sDay #InternationalWomen’sDay2024 #StrongerTogether##chronicIllness #ChronicIllnessWarrior #ChronicPain #fibromyalgia #mecfs #spoonie #resilience #strength

https://lnkd.in/eFN4XKzt discussion on Women's Health, Everybody's Business with Kerrin Miller and Joanna Lyall was an eye-opener. The statistics behind research into women's health are both amazing and saddening. Did you know that the top four illnesses affecting women - autoimmune disease, lung cancer, brain health, and cardiovascular health - show up differently than in men? Yet, there are no women-specific studies. To make matters worse, many medical devices are designed for male bodies, not smaller female bodies. It was only in 1993 that women were mandated to be included in clinical trials in the USA, and female mice were only included in trials in 2016. Treating women as small men when it comes to medical solutions is not just a social justice issue; it makes economic sense to invest in meaningful medical research. Let's ensure that women's health is given the attention it deserves. #WomensHealth #MedicalResearch #Equality #womenatwork #womeninleadership #wellbeing #wellness
Improving women's health requires the involvement of organisations, businesses, governments, communities, and individuals alike. It's a collective effort that demands collaboration across all sectors to enact meaningful change and ensure the well-being of women everywhere. Collaboration, community and collection action are three core tenets at Women&Co. We are proud to do work that helps build workplaces where women can bring their best and boldest contribution. #womenscoaching #womenatwork #womenleaders
