5 years what an achievement, this time 5 years ago I remember thinking "I hope that phone rings today", I can assure you I have never had that thought again. 5 Years at TMT has been like a well controlled, organised, fun Rollercoaster that only goes up! With more people joining our happy ship and us now building on our well established brand, I am excited to see what the next 5 years will bring. A few insights. On the property market side of things, the world of Real Estate is evolving and with it, the ways you can purchase property. Cryptocurrency's popularity is already showing it is possible to purchase property with, for example, Bitcoin, Ethereum or other digital assets. Some sellers may be open to such an exchange, however GBP will be needed for some time yet for that all important HMRC SDLT payment! Some Lenders are even starting to explore mortgages backed by Cryptocurrency. Global Payments will become faster, cheaper, more efficient and encouraging more international trade, business and investment. A fee with no exchange rate! Regulatory reform - with some Crypto Exchanges now being accepted by PII providers and Banks you can now use your Crypto investment portfolio to buy assets (all subject to AML, KYC etc etc but lets not bog this post about the future in 'red tape'). Artificial Intelligence- Chat GPT, the other day my Teams call was minuted by a Bot who took a very detailed minute by minute with sub titled topic headings at a speed I'm not sure I can talk at - some will disagree! All of the above will compliment service, personal experience, efficiency. Finally for those that may feel some trepidation regarding the future, did you know that the word FEAR has two meanings. 1. Good things come in threes, right? Today, I’m celebrating my three-year anniversary at Lyre’s, and it has me reflecting not only on this milestone but on the significance of the number three. In storytelling, the Rule of Threes teaches us that things grouped in threes are more satisfying and memorable. In cocktails, sometimes all you need are three simple ingredients to create a perfectly balanced drink—it’s not about complexity, but knowing how to make something simple better. And in careers? I’ve learned that three years can bring exponential growth, countless lessons, and meaningful connections. Here are three (of many!) lessons that have shaped my journey at Lyre’s: 1️⃣ Disruption is powerful, but purpose is essential. It’s not just about challenging industry norms; it’s about creating meaningful connections with consumers and delivering value that resonates deeply. 2️⃣ Your team is everything. The people around you define the experience. I’ve been lucky to work with an incredible team that shares a passion for innovation and redefining how the world drinks. 3️⃣ Change is constant. From launching products to navigating the growth of the non-alcoholic movement, adaptability has been my greatest asset. As I celebrate this milestone, I’m also looking ahead—to new challenges, deeper connections, and more reasons to keep innovating. To my team, thank you for making these three years unforgettable. Ten years filled with laughter, challenges, and above all, success! From our humble beginnings, we've embarked on adventures that could rival the best Hollywood movies. 🎬✨ Remember when we started in the garage next to the grandmother of diaper pants, with just a tabletop lathe and a bunch of crazy ideas? Well, since then, we've grown bigger than that bunch of crazy ideas, and that's saying a lot! We've faced more obstacles than we can count: from technical issues that made us sweat more than a marathon in the desert, to emergency meetings that kept us up until the wee hours of the night. But each challenge has made us stronger, more resilient, and, well, sometimes a bit grayer due to stress, but that doesn't matter! We keep moving forward! However, it hasn't all been hard work and tears (though there were some of those too). We've shared moments of pure joy and camaraderie. Wow! How has it already been a year?! I’ll tell you what though… that old saying “time flies when you’re having fun” couldn’t be more true. Here’s what I’ve learned this past year working as a Social Media Specialist for MacroAir Fans 1️⃣ Company culture is key for longevity. We spend a large majority of our lives in the workplace, so the atmosphere makes a huge difference on your well-being. 2️⃣ We are ALL learning.
