The study introduces a novel method for creating recyclable thermosetting polymers by utilizing the Knoevenagel condensation (KC) reaction, catalyzed by 4-dimethylaminopyridine (DMAP). The research explores various combinations of reactants, yielding three distinct polymers (P-CC, P-CO, and P-PCL) with different flexible chains. These polymers exhibit high cross-linking density, gel fraction, and elastic modulus, alongside good reprocessability and chemical recyclability.
