Signs of a #LeadershipVacuum/Crisis? According to a #Gallup survey, #employeeEngagement fell to an 11-year low to 30 percent, the decline mostly affecting ✳ younger employees ✳ fully remote employees ✳ and a strange category of “employees who could do their jobs remotely but work exclusively on-site” It is not just a matter of morale. It is about #business. According to McKinsey - “Employee disengagement is costing companies - to the tune of $90 million in lost productivity annually” It does not have to remain that way or get worse. “Gallup has identified organizations where an average of 70 % of employees are engaged. But this requires “strategically planned and intentional” workplaces…”. One wonders whose job that might be 🤔 For those who work in Europe, if you feel relief when I tell you that the numbers are for the US, I would be careful. As with many trends, they start in the US and it is a matter of time before they reach good ol’ Europe… https://lnkd.in/dPgyaNy8
