🚀 Interview Experience: Lessons Learned 🚀 A few months ago, I had the opportunity to interview with Uber, and it was an insightful process that taught me a lot. Here’s a breakdown of my experience: 1️⃣ Round 1: An online assessment with 3 challenging questions, ranging from medium to hard difficulty level. 2️⃣ Round 2: A technical DSA round that involved solving a problem using graph, DSU, and string concepts. This was followed by an engaging discussion on problem-solving strategies and time complexity. 3️⃣ Round 3: A low-level design (LLD) round focused on a tree data structure problem. I made a typo due to time constraints, which unfortunately, I didn’t have time to debug, though the logic was correct. 💡 Key Takeaway: In technical interviews, even small details matter. I learned that speed in problem-solving is critical, but so is being extremely careful when writing code. Two minutes can make a difference, and staying calm under pressure is just as important as technical skills. Looking forward to refining my approach and coming back stronger in future endeavour! #interviewexperience #learning #softwareEngineering #uber #problemsolving #growthmindset #coding #interview #growthmindset #Jobopportunities

I’ve finally made up my mind and created a company page for my project. 🎉 In my opinion, managing a group is much harder and requires more resources. Since I’m running everything on my own for now, having a company page seems like a simpler and more practical choice. With just one click, anyone can follow the project and stay updated! If it’s not too much trouble, I’d greatly appreciate a click on the "Follow" button. 🙏 You all know how much those early numbers mean at the start of a journey. Every little bit of support counts! 💙 #StartupJourney #CheckmeAI #TechCommunity #BuildingInPublic #FollowUs #AIProjects #Entrepreneurship #SoloFounder #TechInnovation #CareerDevelopment #TechCareers #JuniorDevelopers #SupportSmallBusiness #LinkedInCommunity #GrowingTogether

I failed my Google Behavioral Interview in 2022. But this time, I cracked it! Here's the complete interview experience: 📞 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧: I got 2 hard DSA problems on arrays and bitmasking. 🏢 𝐎𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 1: Binary search on double values, plus project discussion. 📂 𝐎𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 2: Classic problem based on priority queue and heaps. Input was given in a file format, so I had to write a function to read from the file. 🖥️ 𝐎𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 3: Classic sliding window problem with sets. Two follow-ups were asked plus a discussion on code quality improvements and OOP. 🤔 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐠𝐥𝐲𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝: Faced 5-6 questions on conflict resolution, handling failure, and team dynamics. The whole process took 2 months from start to finish. I did 3 rounds with 3 teams for team matching. I noticed that top tech companies focus more on medium-concept problems rather than harder ones. In the end, my career goals didn't fit, so I moved on. Looking back, I wish I had some guidance for my first attempt. But, I'm glad I got a second chance! Not everyone gets it though, so, it's best to make sure your preparation is top-notch the first time. To do that, you can directly prepare under top PBC engineers at Preplaced. ✅ All you have to do is book a free session with them here: https://lnkd.in/gF7ayu6b These seasoned professionals will provide insights into the interview process, help you focus on the right problem types, share strategies, and conduct mock interviews for both technical and behavioral rounds. Give it a shot! 🚀 All the best! #google #interviewexperience #collab #preplacedcollab #tech #SDE

Tech Interview Prep: Lessons Learned I recently had the opportunity to dive deep into preparing for a technical interview, and I wanted to share some key insights from my experience that might help others on a similar path! 1. Master the Fundamentals: - Algorithms and data structures are the backbone of most technical interviews. Revisiting topics like trees, graphs, and dynamic programming was a game-changer for me. 2. Hands-on Practice: - Platforms like LeetCode, HackerRank, and Kaggle helped me build the muscle memory to solve problems under pressure. Consistency was key here. 3. Know Your Projects: - Be ready to explain your work—whether it's a machine learning model, web application, or even a small script. Understanding the why behind your choices is crucial! 4. Behavioral Questions Matter: - Don’t underestimate the power of storytelling. Situational questions (like dealing with challenges or working in teams) often reveal as much about you as your technical skills. 5. Stay Calm & Confident: - Interviews can be nerve-wracking, but trust your preparation and be confident in your abilities. It’s a conversation, not an interrogation. Good luck to everyone in their tech journey! #TechInterview #InterviewPreparation #CodingLife #MachineLearning #SoftwareEngineering
