Just left the TRC'24 organized by Matchr, special kudos to Adriaan Kolff and Team 👏 Amazing vibe, great people, and insights worth sharing: 🟣 Jurgis Didžiulis brought the house down - getting everyone on their feet with pure energy. What a way to shake things up 🔥 🟣 Change is coming to recruitment, big time. New ways of matching right fits, more accurate approaches, and data driving decisions. Loved hearing Alan Price & Marcus Morrison share how TA is finally getting that seat at the big table 🧠 🟣 Those speaker conversations hit different - so open to share and support. Might have found myself a new coaching adventure (thanks Kris Schamroth) 👊 🟣 Caught up with TA friends who're still part of Avery's journey, and yes - still asking all those questions about TA challenges. Can't help it, that's how we build better solutions ❓ 🟣 Met incredible people and enjoyed every minute in their company. Recruitment is all about human connection, and discovering hidden gems today? That feeling is unmatched ✨ Already looking forward to the next event. The more minds we connect with, the better we make this industry. P.S. If I bombarded you with questions today - thank you for the insights! They're pure gold 🎯 Building something new isn't always comfortable, but that's the point. Every awkward question, every challenge shared - it all adds up to creating that win-win future where candidate experience actually works 🚀

Engage with your network regularly with meaningful comments. ✅ Do Stay Consistent: Being consistent with your content on LinkedIn helps the algorithm boost your visibility, helping you build a following. ❌ Don't Overlook Content Quality: Avoid posting irrelevant or low-quality content. LinkedIn is an incredibly powerful tool for immigrants looking to build a professional network in a new country. It gives you visibility, access to industry connections, insights into local job markets, skill development and endorsement. You can also find many people who are willing to connect and help, especially when they see you’re eager to grow professionally. Building a network as an immigrant may take time, but LinkedIn can bridge the gap, helping you create connections that lead to new opportunities and growth. #ImmigrantSuccess #Networking #LinkedInTips #CareerGrowth #ProfessionalNetworking #Immigrants #JobSearch

Systems thinking is part of Mercy Corps DNA - here is a great example of how this approach is applied in practice👇🏻
We are pleased to share a new blog series from Jobtech Alliance, a programme of Mercy Corps, which highlights a facet of our shared systemic ambitions. Written by Chris Maclay, the series explores the topic of global demand for African talent, and why a systemic approach is needed to tackle challenges and engage opportunities. Our partnership with Jobtech Alliance supports its systemic capacity and the documentation of its use of systemic tools, resources and practices. Yesterday, the meet and greet session cum grand opening of Zion Tech Hub Port Harcourt Centre was a light ball moment. Meeting the likes of #EngrHenryEyo, #CoachNelly and ofcourse the great CEO of Zion Tech Hub; #DrNdomaGodsent and other great personalities was an amazing experience. Thanks to my amazing sister @linkedinDrRitaAjirenike for the link. The importance of job readiness and marketable skills cannot be overemphasized, as being prepared for the demands and expectations of the job market increases ones employability, makes one stand out, empowers individuals to adapt to industry needs, boost self confidence, reduces job anxiety and improves interview performance. I left with a resolve to learn, practise, practise and practise, network and collaborate. It may take time but I'll surely get there. It will be a step at a time because success is not an accident. I'll upskill, network and showcase. watchout! #Ziontechhub #Jobreadiness #Dataanalytics
