The new Hortilux NXTLED fixtures feature the unique boost-function, which enables you to always utilize the full power of the fixture for maximum growth. We've invented this feature to enable you to get the maximum efficacy out of your LED installation at any given time. The principle is simple: when nobody is working at night, green light is switched off and energy made available is transferred to red and blue for 4% more PAR light! The same method is applied during the day: when the sun provides enough green and far-red, switching off these colors results in 14% more PAR. At the end of the day a much higher light sum is realized for the same amount of energy consumed. Last but not least, the efficacy is boosted too: up to 4.1 µmol/joule with 100% power and when dimmed even higher!
