Earlier this year (in April) we hosted our first CTF101. We quickly realized, that while coding was second nature to some, there were others who had never even heard of a CTF and no idea what a code was. So, we double downed, collaborated with our partners and sponsor to provide hands-on training to teach them. In September, we launched our first ever "CTF Fundamentals" which consisted of 4 training sessions covering: intro to CTFs, a Python Bootcamp, Networking 101, and Linux. Last month, we hosted our first ever Pumpkin CTF, which provided participants the opportunity to "apply what they learned!" We had 9 first time CTFers complete their first competition. The CTF itself was built by #capitoltech students. Not only built but by the students, but they had a whole squad on-site the day of to provide hands-on assistance. This is what it's about - learning and growing together! Huge thanks to: Our sponsor ManTech for the prizes, swag, and support! Our partners Capitol Technology University & Capitol Technology University, for hosting and their hospitality!
