His passion for innovation and problem-solving is evident in everything he does. 💡✨ "I was inspired to join Steakholder Foods because of the opportunity to work on groundbreaking technology in the food industry," says Roy. One of the proudest moments in Roy's career was when his team successfully completed a particularly challenging project on time and to a high standard. Faces of Fives: Meet Andrea Frigerio, Mechanical Designer Team Leader at Fives ITAS 🚀 Andrea Frigerio joined Fives ITAS in September 2019 and has recently been promoted Mechanical Designer Team Leader for the Heating Systems line. His role involves coordinating the mechanical design department, overseeing both internal designers and, when needed, external studies. His new position allows him to manage projects as well as work more closely with project managers to ensure that technical solutions designed by the company meet customers’ expectations. ⚙️ Andrea enjoys the dynamic nature of his job, especially the ability to improve processes and solve complex challenges. He appreciates the constant evolution in the industrial combustion sector, which keeps him engaged and motivated. He is passionate about innovation and new energy solutions which drive him to continuously seek improvements in his field. 💪 For Andrea, Fives ITAS’ strength is in the solid Group it belongs to, as well as the solid team he works in. Coming back from #alstom Hennigsdorf, Train Development Site in Germany, where we have mentored our cross-functional #teamalstom composed of system engineers, control engineers, buyers and leaders. Based on Lean culture #apsys, we promote work as one team attitude and short interval management as the basics of collaboration across Engineering Metiers and Projects functions. Lessons learned: our cross-functional teams speak up! They are getting more autonomy to manage their deliverables, problems and trade-off on their scopes.
